We have yet to hear of an extension on the stimulis tax credit so this is a short notice to remind all first time buyers that you need to close your home loan by November 30th in order to receive the tax credit.  That means you have to have at least a 60 day window from application to close.  In other words your loan application should be in place no later than the last week of September.  It is important to have some extra time in case there is a glitch along the way (bank underwriting delays, repairs needed on the home, appraisal delays etc.)

To all Realtors...get your first time buyers over to me today! They need to be pre-approved and my team is ready to perform.

Happy house hunting!
